The basic directions of scientific researches:

  • Studying of antigenic structures of brucellosis, tularemia and cholera agents;
  • Studying of outer membrane polypeptide spectra and zimographic analysis of Vibrio cholerae О1 and О139 proteases with various epidemic significance;
  • Development and improvement of isolation and purification methods for monocomponent and complex antigens of Vibrio cholerae, Brucella, Yersinia pestis and Francisella tularensis. Development of new methods for isolation, purification and quantitative analysis of bacterial lypopolysaccharides;
  • Development and improvement of non-instrumental immunochemical test-systems for detection of Yersinia pestis, Brucella and Francisella tularensis antigens and its antibodies;
  • Development of experimental subcellular chemical vaccines for specific prophylaxis of brucellosis, tularemia, cholera and plague.

Practical opportunities:

  • Examination of human, animal and environment samples for detection of Brucella, Yersinia pestis and Francisella tularensis antigens by dot-immunoassay with specific antibodies labeled by inorganic markers (colloid gold, silver and dispersed dyes).
  • Detection of lypopolysaccharide content in a chemical cholera vaccine and other microbiological preparations .

The basic directions of scientific researches:

  • Studying of molecular physiological aspects of phagocytosis at especially dangerous bacterial infections (plague, tularemia, brucellosis, anthrax) and opportunities of correction of phagocytic system defects by natural immunomodulators;
  • Improvement of immunocytochemical, biochemical, immunological, histological and electron-microscopic methods for an experimental material (organ tissues, immunocompetent cells) analysis;
  • An experimental substantiation of an opportunity of nanobiocomposite applications for increase of sensitive animal resistance to especially dangerous infections.

Practical opportunities:

  • Advisory methodical assistance;
  • Scientific practical assistance (to students and post-graduate students).
